During 2015, year of celebrating the 30th. year of the IEEE OES Canadian Atlantic Chapter since was developed in 1985. Region 7 has taken this opportunity and choose Halifax to be the site of its annual event of IEEE Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (CCECE'2015) , Halifax, N.S., May 3-6 .

This event was planned to be at last day of the Conference as Closing Conference Event with an invited Speaker on the topic:
