EMI Filter Design
WEMS Electronics was established in 1959. It is a full-service design and manufacturing small business (SB) with an extensive AS9100C / ISO-9001 registered complex specializing in state-of-the-art EMI custom filters, engineering and manufacturing services. WEMS is one of the few companies that offer a completely integrated approach to the design and fabrication of precision electronic components, assemblies and subsystems. Our EMI/RFI filter division manufactures high reliability multi-circuit & discreet feed-through (F/T) input, output, power and signal line filters and filtered connectors for military, aerospace, space, and commercial applications.
Biography:
Allel Ifri graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He has over 20 years of experience in the design/application of EMI/EMC Filters for the military and aerospace industries. Besides WEMS Electronics, Allel has also worked for companies such as Genisco, Cornell Dubilier, Corcom, and Kemet. He was the first to incorporate the design of inductors built with silicon gapped C core material and wound with laminated stacked steel plates used in High Current Tempest / Facility Power Line Filters; and to his credit, this design methodology is still being used today.
