It was an EXCOM resolution in 2017 to conduct section officers’ training sessions early in 2018 to help onboarding of new officers within R1.  

The goal of the second Training Day is to provide insight into Student, Young Professional, and Women in Engineering Groups.   As well as to provide some fundamental training in Vtools that will greatly help your Section create, advertise, and report meetings.  

The first R1 Training Day on February 10th was a huge success.  We had over 70 people attend the meeting!  

One of the things we learned from this meeting was that while it was possible to stop or pause the schedule if one of the sessions ran short, it was not fair to 60-70 individuals to delay the subsequent sessions to get back on the schedule. 

We will send out emails throughout the Training Day in realtime to advise those that have registered of changes in the schedule - should they occur.  If you do not register --- we will have no way of contacting you!

This training session will also be held as a teleconference.  Dial-in information via WebEx will be sent in email after registering for the event.  We will not publically post WedEx Dial-in information.  We highly encourage you to register so that you can receive all dial-in information for this meeting.
