As technology continues to integrate into our daily lives, we become more susceptible to vulnerabilities inherent in cyberspace. Professor Peter Kurek
Biography:
Biographical Sketch: Professor Kurek is working currently full time in the industry as Information Assurance Manager for Department of Defense and as a Signal Officer for Army National Guard. He holds certifications in CISM, CISSP, GCIH, CCNA, CCNA Security, ITIL, CompTIA A+, Project+, Network+, Security+, FEMA COOP Planning and Trainer, FEMA Community Cyber Exercise Planning, GCIA. He developed the Cybersecurity degree at Nashua Community College. Currently he is assigned as team leader for the Computer Network Defense Team and he manages information security for network of approximately 2000 systems and 3000 users. Professor Kurek holds degrees from University of Massachusetts Amherst, Springfield Community College and Masters of Science in Information Assurance and Security from American Military Institute.
