We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for our Stafford, TX engineering department. You too could be a part of aerospace’s industry leader. Job Description
- Analyze products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
- Determine feasibility of designing new facilities or modifying existing designs, kits and systems, considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
- Embedded design experience.
- Provide technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which effect long range product engineering planning.
- Participate in internal design reviews with engineering staff to ensure technician compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare or direct preparations of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing or building of prototype product or system.
- Compile and analyze operational and test data to establish performance compliance for newly designed or modified equipment or product.
- Plan and develop experimental test programs.
- Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
- Confer with research and other engineering personnel and prepare design modifications as required.
- Evaluate engineering test results for possible application to developments of systems or other uses.
- Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manger/supervisor.
- Experience with analysis, Finite Element Analysis, spreadsheets and word processing
