Volunteers Needed for University of Houston Build-a-Bot Competition
IEEE Houston Section Volunteers Needed!
University of Houston student chapters for IEEE and SASE are hosting it's first Build-a-Bot competition to promote robotics and coding. The competition is open to the entire university so all majors can participate and learn more about robotics, technology, and coding. All students are welcome, from those with no experience to the experts.
The competition is in need of facilitators and judges the day of the event, April 6th, 2018. Facilitators will be necessary to provide insight on how to build and program the robots during the competition time, 12pm - 5pm. Judges determine the winners based on a variety of topics from concept to efficiency, 4pm - 5pm.
