IEEE Denver Section PES.IAS Fourth Annual Golf Tournament
The Denver Chapter of the IEEE PES/IAS has been the preeminent meeting place for electrical and power engineers for many years. Throughout our history, we have always sought to further education; provide opportunities for professionals to meet; and integrate local university students into the professional world. One way in which we encourage student attendance is to make their admission to meetings and dinner free. As future leaders in our industry, we feel their participation is crucial at IEEE meetings.
The IEEE Denver PES/IAS Annual Golf Tournament will raise funds for our upcoming year of speakers and events. Specifically, the funds will be used to:
- Maintain the $0 meeting and dinner fee for students
- Provide scholarships to student senior design teams for the PK Sen Awards
- Maintain low meeting and dinner fees for professionals
- Pay for special events such as happy hour after a factory tour
