When trying to execute a project, develop a new process, or design and implement a major change, we need to have engaged personnel, working together. We need to drum up excitement and influence teams to help achieve that end goal. But how do you get that started, when everyone has a different opinion? How do you break down silos to get people working with others who they've never (or rarely) engaged with before?  With this talk, we will utilize individual and group table-top exercises to explore the many different perspectives and approaches that can exist within a team.

Biography:

Karen Chovan is a Principal of 2 companies, Enviro Integration Strategies and Shift2Lean Inc., both focused on bringing improvement approaches to projects, programs and organizational strategies.  With 20 years in the industrial sector, Karen has introduced various means to engage teams for aligning objectives, to work collaboratively amongst multiple stakeholders, and to gain trust.
