We will kick off our fall schedule of Section meetings with a tour of the Weiler manufacturing plant in Knoxville.  Please join us before the tour for dinner at Casa Grande, 110 E Main St, Knoxville, IA 50138.  We have a meeting room reserved.

Weiler manufactures heavy-duty equipment for the asphalt paving, mining, and construction markets sold through Caterpillar dealers worldwide.  This equipment makes extensive use of microcontrollers/microprocessors and a variety of sensor types for equipment control and monitoring.

Mr. Huizer, Project Engineer, will first give us an overview of Weiler's business activities.  This will be followed by a tour of the plant.

This will be a joint meeting with the Central Iowa Section PES.
