Title: Designing for Ambient Computing (Voice, wearables, IoT, and more)
Abstract:
Ambient computing is a new paradigm shift where smart, connected devices deliver useful benefits and information without interrupting our daily lives. Instead of pausing to interact with a computer, the computer is dissolved into the background. In this talk, we will look at products like Amazon Alexa, Apple Watch, and IoT sensors, to illustrate the concept, its potential future, and the inherent design challenges involved in creating Ambient Computing devices. Join us to learn how you can be better prepared for this exciting new frontier.
