Biography:

Raymond L. Barrett, Jr., PhD, PE
 
Dr. Barrett is CEO of American Research & Development, LLC and offers Professional Engineering services under its Certificate of Authorization. In addition to engineering services, he is a business manager with a proven R&D track record in four industries. He is an IEEE author and the author of courses for continuing engineering CEU credit for renewal of Professional Engineering licensure.  He has wide-ranging expertise in many disciplines of solid-state electronics that resulted in more than 35 US patents. He has worked in large and small corporate environs but focused on the development of new innovative products. His strengths include architecture and design at all levels of analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF including the integrated circuit level through large complex systems. He has built effective teams to revive struggling products, managed product portfolios, launched new products, and driven volume growth, market share, and profit margins.

Biography:

Robert Smith has over 25 years of engineering experience in the power industry. During this time he has developed specifications for electric power transformers, conducted load flow balances and failure analysis engineering for electrical and electronic systems.  He is currently an electrical engineer for Waldron Engineering and Construction, Inc., which performs detailed design for combined heat and power projects.
