The Washington/Northern Virginia Chapter of the Reliability Society invites you for coffee and dessert as we listen to Dr. Luis Kun and a distinguished lecture.

Health technology is advancing rapidly toward a paperless or near paperless world in which health information, patient records, diagnostics start to blend together.  When each component is well thought out, executed correctly, and protected, patient needs can be met. But poor execution puts people at risk and leaves open possibilities for disease.

The speaker is Editor in Chief, Springer’s Journal of Health and Technology. The journal focuses on Health Information Systems, Bioterrorism, Healthcare Delivery. 

Dr. Kun is a 2018 Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE EMBS Society and IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT).  More information is found in the biography section below.
