New Year Intention Setting & Mentoring Kick-Off
A Harvard Business study in the October Business Planning Guide from Rising Tide Society: "(the study) revealed remarkable statistics relating to goal setting and success: 83% of the population do not have goals; 14% have a plan in mind, but goals are unwritten; and 3% have goals written down. The study found that the 14% who have goals are 10 times more successful than those without goals. The 3% with written goals are three times more successful than the 14% with unwritten goals. Writing your goals down sets you up to be exponentially more successful.
Meet with IEEE Houston Section Young Professionals for our second annual goal setting event. This meeting will be combined with a group mentoring information event where IEEE Houston Section Young Professionals leadership will explain our new and finalized mentoring program. We will also reveal our 2019 events calendar.

Biography:
Chris Sanderson is an acclaimed member of the IEEE Houston Section and currently serves as the Houston Section Vice Chair. He also serves as part of regional leadership and is an excellent orator on both the principles and benefits of mentorship as well as on the benefits and importance of goal settings. This is his second time presenting on goal setting and he is looking forward to speaking to IEEE Young Professionals again at this annual event.
