Tour the NEW Area515 Maker Space
This month we will tour the NEW larger facility for the Des Moines Area515 Maker Space. This new space has many Maker areas for members to collaborate and explore electronics, wood working, welding, fabrics, computers and more. You will see what they have available and learn about the Maker movement in Central Iowa.
We will meet starting at 6:00 PM for a social time then have a guided tour at 6:30 PM. Food and drink will be available. You are welcome to stay and explore and ask questions. Street parking is FREE on the north and east sides adjacent to the building.
Take Second Avenue to Jefferson Avenue and turn east. Area515 Maker Space is on the south side of Jefferson just before you reach Ohio Street.
