High Tech Merit Badge POW-WOW
IEEE Utah Section High Tech Merit Badge Event
The IEEE Utah Section in conjunction with Weber State University is hosting a High Tech Merit Badge POW-WOW on Saturday, 9 March and Saturday, 23 March from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Boys can register for one, two, or three merit badges. To complete the merit badge, boys must attend both Saturday sessions. Most badges will require homework in between the classes. Unless otherwise noted in the registration details, all merit badge work can be completed during the week between the two Saturdays. Follow this link to register.
Boys can sign up for one, two, or three merit badges. The cost is $5 per class except Programming which is $10.00. Price includes drinks, snacks, and the kit for the class if there is one. Class sizes are limited. All merit badges can be completed during the event. Some may require homework before and/or between the two dates.
Notes:
- Electricity merit badge attendees will do a home safety inspection.
- The programming merit badge takes 2 blocks and is limited to boys who have completed a pre-algebra class
