Spark your semester finish to a successful new career or a successful summer break. The IEEE Student Branch at Lamar University will be hosting a Motivational Seminar facilitated by Mr. Taylor Troutman. He will help you transition from your current steady state of final exams and academic life and help you jump-start to a successful new career or how to find productive work or purpose during the summer break.

This seminar is focused around sharing challenges/success and motivation moments in overcoming preparation for Spring Semester Exams, Spring Graduation, and Summer Break.

Taylor Troutman Taylor Troutman

Biography:

Tyler is a native Texan and graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Tyler is a Solutions Advisor at Function4. Tyler is a recipient of the 2016 40 Under 40 Award from the Southeast Texas Young Professionals Organization. Tyler serves on a number of boards and committees including the board of directors for the Lumberton Chamber of Commerce, State Delegate of the Hardin County Republican Party, Long Range Planning Division of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, Citizen Advisory Committee for Lumberton ISD, Steering Committee for the Southeast Texas Young Professionals Organization, member of the Astronomical Society of Southeast Texas, and an active podcaster among the Southeast Texas Podcast community. Tyler lives in Lumberton with his daughter Ava, 13 years old and his son Brody, 10 years old.
