Houston Section Secretary invites all current and incoming student branch officers to sign up and attend this Student Branch Officer Training Class.  We will cover IEEE resources, navigating vTools, leveraging your Section, funding opportunities, and everything in-between! Refreshments will be provided to those in attendance.  You will not want to miss this first annual officer training meeting!

A webinar link will be emailed to those who are unavailable to attend in person but who are still interested in the demonstrations and conversations.

Student Branch Leadership Development

Moriah will be speaking on your role as a student branch officer, IEEE resources, and where we all fit within the world of IEEE.

Biography:

Moriah graduated cum laude from the University of Houston in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While at UH, Moriah worked in various university roles serving as a teaching assistant, a senior residential advisor, and in leadership positions for several student organizations, including as President of her IEEE student branch at UH. Moriah also worked as an intern for four summers in the electrical reliability engineering departments of Marathon Petroleum Corporation and INEOS.  

Moriah joined Fletcher Yoder Law Firm after graduation in 2017 and is currently working there as a patent agent.
