Smart Poles in Smart Cities- Taking Sustainability and Pairing it with the Internet of Things

SMART POLES IN SMART CITIES -TAKING SUSTAINABILITY AND PAIRING IT WITH THE INTERNET OF THINGS

We love to stay connected, have information readily at our finger tips, explore our main streets, and live the urban life to its fullest. Ever wondered how that all happens or how it could happen in your neighborhood? Sandra will share some insights into how large and small cities are transforming their urban environments into digitally connected streetscapes in sustainable ways pairing everything from lighting, WiFi, security cameras, and signage with the Internet of things (IoT).

Come prepared by taking some photos of your favorite main streets and neighborhoods and we will have a digital scavenger hunt of the hidden infrastructure you didn’t know existed in your own backyard.
