The Denver chapter of the IEEE PES/IAS is the region’s foremost organization representing electrical and power engineers. Our mission is to further education and professional development; provide professional and social networking opportunities; and encourage student involvement in the industry through project funding, scholarships, and event subsidies. The annual PES/IAS golf tournament has become a fun-filled tradition that helps raise funds for activities that support the chapter’s mission. Examples include:

Maintaining the $0 meeting and dinner fee for students
Providing project funding to student senior design teams for the annual PK Sen awards
Maintaining low meeting and dinner fees for professionals
Hosting special events such as facility tours and networking happy hours
