The forum for the presentation of student works defended this or in the last year in the field of Embedded Systems.

The objective of the Student Poster Session at the PESW Workshop is to provide a forum for the presentation of student works defended this or in the last year (since summer 2018). The presented works must be Bachelor or Master Theses from the field of Embedded Systems. The attendees must be recommended by the university of origin.

This year, 3 Bachelor Theses and 5 Master Theses take a part of the contest. The contestants were from the Czech Republic and Italy.

The Poster Session is organized by the IEEE Student Branch at the Czech Technical University in Prague in connection with IEEE Young Professionals. Best posters will be rewarded by valuable prizes donated by IEEE YP and sponsors. This year, we had a number of sponsors from the industry: CZ.NIC, STMicroelectronics, ASICentrum, ISECO, CESNET, and NXP.

YP activities were presented by Jan Belohoubek.

All contestants obtained a joined IEEE/sponsors gift package and the best works were rewarded by valuable prizes donated by IEEE YP and Poster Session sponsors.

As the session is organized by young IEEE members from YP and CTU Student Branch, the second objective is to encourage the participants to enter the international professional community. Our small community is proud, that thanks to the event atmosphere and spirit, three students joined IEEE.
