Visualization: from data to (un)informative image

Human sight is the broadest channel of information transfer from the outside world to our brains. This makes images one of the most powerful medium and visualization a very useful tool. But how to properly use this tool to communicate certain information? How to present multiple messages within one image? How to make it readable and informative? In this lecture  we’ll talk about different types of visualization, paradigmes and principles. We’ll take a look at common mistakes and visual lies and go through best practices of visualization
