Joe Rowny, Manager of Test and Validation for Danfoss Drives in RTP, NC, will provide a presentation on Medium Voltage Drives, with some additional focus on how these drives are tested.

About the Presenter:
Joe is the manager of test & validation for Danfoss Drives medium voltage division in RTP, NC. Currently the medium voltage VFD product line consists of 2-6MW(2700-8000HP) drives rated at either 3300VAC or 4160VAC. Joe has been with Danfoss for 4.5 years. Prior to Danfoss, Joe was employed for 9 years by General Electric and was a power electronics engineer on the new product introduction team for generator excitation and gas turbine static starter(LCI) product lines. Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from SUNY Alfred and his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College
