Gone are the days when scientists could submit a one-line request for funding to scientific foundations and governments. With more and more PhD-educated scientists, obtaining funding for research is becoming increasingly more competitive. In this workshop, I’ll give an introduction to proposal writing and support interactive sessions where an example proposal and its official feedback are analysed. Finally, participants will separate into smaller groups and write their own abstract for a potential research proposal, before presenting to the whole group.
