SP Chapter: Special Round-table Webex Meeting

I would like to invite every member of our local Signal Processing chapter to attend this virtual roundtable meeting so that we can share our concern and support, and stay connected as a community during this challenging time.

I would also like to discuss any interesting technical topics and activities that we can effectively conduct online in the near future. As you might notice that I scheduled a SP Distinguished Lecture “Audio-Visual Voice Activity Detection Using Deep Neural Networks” by Dr. Cohen from Israel on April 24 along with Atlanta SP chapter; unfortunately, we cancelled it due to the COVID-19 outbreak. It would be a great opportunity for our local chapter to have direct technical learning and exchanges with one of renowned researchers in Signal Processing. But I am sure that we can discover and plan some similar activities virtually, so I will be happy to share some of my researches and topics that I can present at the meeting.

I will send out an IEEE WebEx Link a couple days before the meeting. Please let me know if you would like to change the time or add the topics.
