Since the first 2010 introduction of NFPA 850 Recommendation of Transformer “Fast Depressurization Systems,” which outlines fire safety recommendations for gas, oil, coal, and alternative fuel electric generating plants, including high voltage direct current converter stations and combustion turbine units used for electric generation. The Fast Depressurization System technology in Power Generating Plants has sharply reduced financial costs and personnel death due to potential transformer explosions and fires both new and existing facilities.

Jerry Basore is the President and CEO of Sentry Global Solutions, Inc. Mr. Basore was a founding member of this company as General Manger and VP of Sales. He has been working in the transformer fire and explosion prevention industry worldwide for the past 11 years. Prior to his transition to this industry, Mr. Basore had devoted 30 years in the design and sales of Electric Induction Power Supplies, special machines, robotics in the dedicated automation industry.

Karl Neuffer of Sentry Global Solutions, Inc.
Biography:
Karl Neuffer is the Business Development Manager for Sentry Global Solutions, Inc. in Humble, TX. He works with utilities, Petrochem companies and other large power consumers to protect their oil-filled transformers from explosion and fire. He has held several sales positions for consulting services and industrial products which includes forming a Joint Venture in Brazil. Karl has a BS in Business Management & Marketing from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
