Dr. Ozpineci has been involved with IEEE Societies ever since he received his Ph.D. He has mostly participated in the Power Electronics and the Industry Applications Societies where he has served in various roles on editorial boards and technical and conference organization committees. In this talk, he will discuss ways to get involved with IEEE and how to be sought after for volunteering. He will also talk about how to be an IEEE Senior Member and its importance for one’s career. He will conclude his talk with a discussion on how become an IEEE Fellow and how to get ready for it.
