This presentation will review the type of pre-action systems available.   Once the review of the pre-action system is completed, we will spend time on several different types of speciality fire protection valves related to pre-action systems.  We will discuss when, where and how they work.  The different systems will be Surefire, Firecycle and Flow control on-off systems.   We will go into detail on when and why we should add clean agent to cover different items inside a building or room.  Novec 1230 and FM 200 will be discussed as different types of clean agents. With each system we will also go over code changes as well.
