Biography:

Mark Lloyd
Sr. Product Manager
OmniOn Power

Mark is a senior product manager for OmniOn Power covering DC power system cabinet solutions.  Mark has over 30 years of experience in electrical systems development and applications with the greater part of that time spent working for GE and ABB.

While at GE, Mark was a key R&D development engineer for the 7F/9F heavy-duty gas turbine division which included on-site support for the 7F first-fire installation at the GenOn (Reliant) power generation station in Hunterstowns, PA.  He also spent a significant amount of time as a program manager for development of GE’s EX2100e generator static exciter, and LS2100 load-commutated inverter (LCI) gas turbine starter.

Currently at OmniOn Power (formerly ABB power conversion), Mark is focused on development of large AC to DC power conversion systems in the 24, 48, and 125 VDC power class.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University (IUPUI) and is EIT certified.  In addition, he is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
