IEEE Teacher-in-Service Program Workshop, Nov. 5-6, 2016,
IEEE Teacher In-Service Program (TISP) Training Workshop on November 5 & 6, 2016 at the Princeton Marriott Forrestal. In this 11⁄2 day workshop, you will learn:
- How to provide training to local primary and secondary school teachers on the use of engineering & engineering design lesson plans and hands-on activities in the classroom
- How teachers can motivate students in the classroom toward a better understanding of engineering
- How the lesson plans may be aligned to local education standards
- How to develop a partnership with local primary and secondary school systems
You will also have the opportunity to interact with fellow engineers and teachers from the local region. The event is organized by the IEEE Educational Outreach (IEEE Educational Activities Board) and the IEEE Jersey Coast, IEEE Princeton/Central Jersey, IEEE North Jersey and IEEE South Jersey Sections. The organizers are also reaching out to the IEEE New York, IEEE Long Island, IEEE Connecticut, IEEE Lehigh Valley, IEEE Philadelphia and IEEE Delaware Bay Sections.
