Big Data and Machine Learning with Cloud Computing
Fueled by the rise of big data, machine learning, and cloud computing, the computer society at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) hosted an educational workshop at the Center of Excellence for Creative Projects. Led by Engineer Majd Jamaah, a DevOps manager at Beyond Limits and a program mentor for Google for Startups, the workshop delved into the transformative potential of these emerging technologies.
Engineer Jamaah's comprehensive presentation covered a range of critical topics, including:
1-Cloud Computing: Exploring the on-demand delivery of IT resources like storage, servers, databases, networking, and software over the internet.
2-Big Data: Understanding the management and analysis of massive datasets that hold valuable insights.
3-Data Processing: Unveiling the techniques for ingesting, transforming, and storing big data.
4-Machine Learning (ML): Demystifying the concept of algorithms that learn from data and make predictions without explicit programming.
5-Internet of Things (IoT): Discussing the network of physical devices embedded with sensors that collect and exchange data.
6-Conclusion: Examining the future prospects of these technologies and their impact on various industries.
