Biography:

He earned a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1992), a Master's in Education (Psychology of Education) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1996), and a PhD in Education (History of Educational Psychology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2007) with a sandwich period at the University of Geneva (2006), Jean Piaget Archives. He is an Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of São João Del-Rei (MG). He works in the field of School/Educational Psychology, with an emphasis on Psychogenetic Theories (Piaget, Vygotsky, and Wallon), focusing primarily on the following topics: Practice of Educational and School Psychologists, History of Psychology, Phenomenology, and Humanistic Psychology (Rogers), Person-Centered Approach (PCA) in Psychological Services, and University Extension. He completed a Postdoctoral period at the University of Trento (2022-2023), focusing on Feedback in Higher Education: internal feedback, emotional aspects, and self-awareness.
