Mr Lok Choon Hong

Mr Lok Choon Hong is a qualified lawyer (non-practising) for Malaysia and Singapore and a registered patent, trademark and industrial design agents for Malaysia. He has been actively involved in the intellectual property (IP) field for the past twenty (20) years. He was awarded the world’s top 1000 patent practitioners by the world’s top 1000 patent practitioners by IAM magazine from year 2013 to 2023 and an awardee of IPSTARs award by Managing IP Magazine in 2019 2023 & 2023 for the world top 300 IP strategists.

Mr Lok holds a Master of Laws Degree from University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, an executive MBA degrees from INSEAD, France/Singapore and E-MBA from Tsinghua University, China. 

Apart from IP agency and consultancy works, Mr Lok is also actively involved in angel capital investment in IP based companies in Malaysia, Singapore and China. Currently, Mr Lok is the Chair of AIPO Business Angels Club and a partner of AIPO Deep Tech Venture Capital Fund.

Ms. Lee Jia Ee is a registered Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent in Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Hons) degree with a major in Biomechanics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her expertise lies in the areas of mechanical engineering, information technology, biomedical engineering etc. She is experienced in handling IP portfolios for MNCs and SMEs. Her professional activities involve all aspects of patent prosecution, including drafting patents, conducting prior art searches, performing freedom to operate analysis, responding to office actions, managing local and foreign patent applications and providing strategies and advice on IP related matters.
