*Welcome to section members and guests to the meeting*

1.) Regional Meeting 9 - 2017 held in San Jose, Costa Rica outcomes, impressions and materials gathered. Awards and recognitions results.

2.) IEEE SENIOR Member new elevations in the Section and Subsection. Expected increase at least 3-8 members by this year.

3.) The DL-Distinguished Lecturer Tour from ComSoc in March 25th impressions and member’s feedback Prof. Athanassios Manikas from London (UK).

4.) YP STEP PROGRAM event and coordination. For a period of 3 hours Entrepreneurship and skills in the profession at CIAPR Small conference room. We will provide Snacks and pantry plates for a minimum of 10 to 12 YP’s. Current total of YP Members in Section 19.

 

*Student Activities*

5.) First Zone meeting in Turabo University Saturday April 1st or April 8th coordination. Presentations and preparations for affinity groups and chapter societies.
6.) “La Casa de Todos” IEEE Sights and WIE proposal Project for the community. Expectations and development. 
7.)NSTBM 3rd edition logistics and possible costs for the Subsection D.R as the host country.

8.) Coordination for DL from Finland Andrei Gurtov, PhD. on mid- April in the Caribbean and Subsection.

9.) Tu Primero - Revisión de proyecto TISP - Impressions

10.) Primary delegate (PD) suggestions and fees for Sections Congress 2017 (SC2017) in Sydney, Australia, at the International Convention Centre, from 11 to 13 August 2017. "Brilliant Minds. Bright Futures."
