SECON 2017 - Social Engineering Impacts Security
The New Jersey Chapter of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, or (ISC)², is organizing SECON 2017 - Social Engineering Impacts Security, a one-day symposium that is being held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at New Jersey City University, Jersey City, NJ. The program consists of five parallel tracks on prevention, detection, mitigation, response and recovery educational programs for emerging issues facing today’s businesses, governments, educators, and cyber security practitioners. The best of processes, frameworks, devices, and applications can be compromised if the people managing and using them are social-engineered. This conference is to highlight how easily people can be manipulated and how to avoid falling prey. Leaders in the industry present insights, and discuss and exchange innovative, future focused ideas and solutions to address technical and business related social engineering.
