Biography:
Ali Abedi graduated from National Organizatin for Development of Exceptional Talents in 1991 with diploma in Mathematic and Physics. He has received his B.S and M.S degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from University of Waterloo in 1996, 1998 and 2004, respectively, all with focus in Commuication Systems. Dr. Abedi joined the University of Maine, Orono in 2005, where he is currently Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Cooperating Professor of Computing and Information Sciences.
