Financial Planning Workshop
The Cedar Rapids Section of IEEE invites you to join us for a financial planning workshop sponsored by Hills Bank. Chris Moen and Todd Davenport will be providing valuable information about many financial topics including saving for retirement, paying down debt, responsible credit card use, saving for home ownership, and more! When you register ahead of time, you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 visa gift card, courtesty of Hills Bank! This event is hosted by the Cedar Rapids IEEE Young Professionals, but everyone is encouraged to attend. There will be valuable information for everyone, regardless of what stage of life you are in financially.

Chris Moen of Hills Bank

Biography:
Chris is originally from Vermillion, South Dakota. He graduated from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business with a BBA in Finance and Economics, and then from the Tippie School of Management with an MBA in Finance, Accounting & Management. Chris worked in the Commercial Lending area of Hills Bank from for five years, then moved to the Trust and Wealth Management department where he is currently First Vice President of Investments, specializing in investments, portfolio management, and financial planning. He is also a member of the department’s Investment Committee, which guides the investment policies of the Trust and Wealth Management department. Chris is also currently working toward obtaining his financial planning certification. He is married, and his wife works for the Special Collections & University Archives at the University of Iowa. Chris’ hobbies include golfing, biking, and watching soccer.
Todd Davenport of Hills Bank

Biography:
Todd is originally from Storm Lake, Iowa. Upon completion of high school, he served four years in the US Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Goldsboro, North Carolina. Upon discharge from the military, he attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in Business Finance. Todd has been a Mortgage Lender with Hills Bank for 16 years and has been in the mortgage industry for 22 years. He is married to his high school sweetheart, who works for the University of Iowa Hospitals. Todd has two children, a daughter who is a freshman at the University of Iowa and a son who is a junior at West High School in Iowa City. Todd’s hobbies include boating, biking, hunting and fishing.
