VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY 

Are you a young professional and want to help support our annual scholarship fundraiser? If you're interested in helping, RSVP to reserve your spot. Food and fun will be provided to volunteers.

Specific volunteer roles include helping with registrant check-in, during event logistics support, and helping take photos during event. Please note that times are subject to change.

If you have physical limitations, or other needs which should be accommodated, then just let Moriah Hargrove Anders (moriah.s.hargrove.anders@ieee.org) know after you RSVP. 

 

Event Description:

 

Friday, October 6th,2017 is the date for the 14th Annual IEEE Houston Section Scholarship Golf Tournament. This year's tournament will be held at WindRose Golf Club and all proceeds will benefit the IEEE Houston Section Scholarship Fund!

Earlier this year we honored Ian Jordan, who was our 2016 Scholarship Receipient. On February 23, 2017 the Houston Section was proud to award Ian Jordan an Engineer Major at Texas A&M University its 2016 IEEE Houston Section Scholarship. For many years Ian always knew he wanted to be an Engineer and many different activities have contributed to where he is today. His desire to be an Engineer in the Aerospace Industry will take him far and we hope that our IEEE Houston Section Scholarship will help along the way. We look forward to the great things that Ian Jordan will accomplish in the future.


Please help us make this event a success by registering a team or becoming a sponsor. Your generous contribution will go a long way in supporting the future technical and engineering leaders in our community. All Proceeds Benefit IEEE Houston Section Scholarship Fund.
