Gamma Ray Detection
Most people know very little about neutrons and gamma rays. For 5½ years, the SEDS, LLC team worked to create a powerful system for finding Improvised Explosive Devices [“IEDs”] using tools based on these nuclear phenomena. The technology also has potential applications to humanitarian demining, cancer treatment, deep rock mining, and the coal and cement industries as well. This will be a no-holds-barred talk about fascinating technology, and Washington politics, presented by Wayne B. Norris, former Chief Scientist of SEDS, LLC, and the principal inventor of 6 patents in the fields of explosives detection and neutron and gamma ray technology.
