Roboticist Dr. Takeo Kanade (Carnegie Mellon University) will discuss the future of robotics and his personal vision of how robots and humans will interact as the technology continues to advance. Dr. Kanade’s thinking on the relationship between humans and robots has evolved during his career in Japan and the United States. He now believes that the relationship between humans and robots will be more ‘symbiotic’ and ‘cooperative’

This event is being organized by Montclair State University, and is co-sponsored by the IEEE North Jersey/New York Information Theory Chapter.
