DESCRIPTION:The presentation showed aspects of the automatic observation of
behavior and activity of people with the use of CCTV (closed circuit tele
vision) system and IVA (intelligent video analysis) algorithms. During the
presentation the problems relating to the separation and counting of peop
le\, the analysis of the trajectory and the density of people\, the detect
ion of unusual behavior and face recognition from low-resolution images we
re discussed. The selection of algorithm parameters and algorithm efficien
cy were also presented. Finally\, methods for the rapid prototyping of the
algorithms on the DSP (digital signal processor) were discussed.\n\nSpeak
