 Verma welcomed all the members present at the meeting.\n\nAgenda Item #1:R
 atification of minutes of the previous meeting.\n\nThe minutes of previous
  meetings were read by the secretary. Chairman raised the question about M
 OU procedure as in last meeting it was discussed which were answered by th
 e secretary.\n\nAction Item: It was adopted anonymously by all present mem
 bers.\n\nAgenda Item #2:Discussion on the request to organize the Internat
 ional Conference ICMETE-2016\n\nDiscussion: It was reported as per the sec
 retary suggestion an email was sent to the organizers to present proposal 
 with all details in executive committee to be held on 12th April\, 2016. N
 one of the member was presented.\n\nAction Item: With consent of all membe
 rs it was decided not to consider the request as it was not presented.\n\n
 Agenda Item #3: Report of membership Drive at IEEE WCI 2015.\n\nDiscussion
 : Student representative Mr. Rahul Sevakula presented a summary report of 
 the membership drive conducted at IEEE WCI 2015. He reported that drive wa
 s conducted in two phase as mentioned below.\n\nPhase 1 – Awareness abou
 t CIS chapter\, benefits of membership via seminar\n\nPhase 2 – Student 
 level competition\n\nAn exciting competition was conducted where problem s
 tatement was the design of a robot that fills potholes in a Metropolitan C
 ity. Around 15 students participated in it. Dr. Nishchal K. Verma and Dr. 
 Saumya R. Sahoo served as the judges. The competition was held as part of 
 IEEE CIS Membership drive at IEEE WCI 2015 conference held at IIT Kanpur. 
 It was unanimously agreed by the judges that Mr. Bodhibrata Mukhopadhyay a
 nd Mr. Subhra Sarkar from IIT Delhi be declared as the winners. The winner
 s shall be given a certificate to acknowledge this achievement. Additional
 ly each of them will be given a sponsorship amounting to USD 15\, for 1 ye
 ar subscription of Student Member grade membership in IEEE Computational I
 ntelligence Society.\n\nAgenda Item #4: Any other item\n\n1) Suggestion by
  chairman to connect students from other colleges so that they can explore
  its benefits and CIS can be reached to more people. It was also suggested
  to give some positions to these members. Mr. Sevakula suggested if possib
 le manifesto can be invited. Dr. Verma suggested to plan for an easy and f
 ormal procedure so that more people can easily be associated with the chap
 ter.\n\n2) It was decide to have a coordinator for conducting the CIS Awar
 eness Program. Main idea is to conduct regular programs in colleges and me
 mbership drives. It will help others to contact coordinator to directly an
 swer quries of new comers.\n\nMeeting was adjourned with vote of thanks at
