DESCRIPTION:Recently dramatical improvement of accuracy and expansion of th
e size of\nthe astronomical observations have made cosmology a precise sci
ence. In\nparticular galaxy survey which observes more than billion galaxi
es in\ndetail has revealed the structure of the Universe and the energy co
ntent\nof the Universe very precisely. In this talk\, I will introduce the
ideas\nhow we can obtain the insights of expansion history of the Univers
 e by\nobserving large-scale structure\, density fluctuations of galaxies o
r\ndark matter over the cosmological scale as well as the state-of-the-art
\nof the constraint on the cosmological models. The talk begins with the\n
introductory of the basic physics explaining the expansion of space-time\n
and goes into my recent works on testing the cosmological models by\nmeans
of void structure.\n\nCo-sponsored by: IEEE Sapporo Section\n\nSapporo\,
