DESCRIPTION:On 6 February 2017 a visit to Narora Atomic Power Station has b
 een made by the students of MIT IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER. Narora Atomic Power 
 Station (NAPS) is located in Narora\, Bulandshahar District in Uttar Parde
 sh\, India. The plant is thus placed 68 km from the district headquarters 
 in Bulandshahar.\n\nThe visit was made under the guidance of Dr. Pankaj Sh
 arma faculty convener of MIT IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER. In the plant students l
 earned about the process of generation of electricity through reactors. Th
 e plant houses two reactors\, each a pressurised heavy water reactor (PHWR
 ) capable of producing 220 MW of electricity. Commercial operation of NAPS
 -1 began on 1 January 1991\, NAPS-2 on 1 July 1992.\n\nCo-sponsored by: Mo
