 ety) for the students. To get awareness about the beneficiaries of the mem
 bership in IEEE and PES for an engineering student and encourage them to t
 ake membership in IEEE. This programme was meant for EEE students.\n\nProg
 ramme Details:\n\nOver 40 students from EEE Department had attended the pr
 ogramme at E-class room\, N-block\, CBIT at 3:00 pm on 09-01-2017 for awar
 eness on IEEE membership and PES.\n\nPraval Reddy\, the Chairperson for PE
 S\, had given a power point presentation on IEEE and the beneficiaries of 
 IEEE membership in addition with a brief explanation on Power and Energy S
 ociety.\n\nA voice video clip on IEEE recorded by the members of IEEE was 
 also shown in the programme.\n\nNaveen Krishna\, the Chairperson for CBIT 
 Student Branch\, shared his experiences in IEEE as a member and encouraged
  the students to take membership in IEEE to enhance their skills and impro
 ve their knowledge.\n\nAkhil\, member of IEEE CBIT Executive Body\, shared
  his experiences in IEEE and the improvement that he observed by actively 
 participating in the IEEE events. He motivated the students to take up IEE
 E membership and be a part of PES to enhance their career.\n\nWe thank Dr.
  P.V. Prasad\, Head of EEE Dept.\, for his co-operation to make the progra
