DESCRIPTION:The Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB) celebrated its silver j
 ubilee at an evening held at the convention center of the Achocalla campus
  in La Paz\, with more than 500 guests. Those present enjoyed a contempora
 ry dance show and the Bolivia Symphonic Choir UPB. The circumstance was us
 ed to present the new song of the University\, entitled "Against Tide". Ex
 ecutives from the University of La Paz and Cochabamba\, entrepreneurs\, gr
 aduates\, alumni and all the guests shared a fine cocktail\, with various 
 drinks\, snacks and other delicacies. During the event the rector of the h
 ouse of studies\, Manuel Olave\, presented his book "Universidad Privada B
 oliviana: 25 years of strategic management". At the event\, the new name o
 f the UPB Campus in La Paz\, "Fernando Illanes" was announced\, and that o
 f the Obrajes postgraduate building "Manuel Olave Sarmiento".The IEEE Boli
 via Section Chair was invited\, and gave a recognition for all contributio
 n that the Universidad Privada Boliviana Student Branch made for IEEE Boli
