DESCRIPTION:The commencement of the visit took place by an introduction to 
 Philips by Mr. AshutoshKinikar. He explained about the journey of Philips 
 in building the health care technology in India. He also explained about t
 he footprint of Philips in India and its health care systems.\n\nThe next 
 session was an interaction with Dr.RaviRamaswamy. He enlightened the us wi
 th various types of innovations on healthcare\, their relevance\, complexi
 ty\, affordability\, how they help us in solving problems\, understanding 
 of the machines\, building and interfacing them.\n\nFurther\, we were head
 ed to the MR Lab. We learnt about MRI scanners\, their purpose\, the princ
 iple and mechanism involved\, practical usage and applications.\n\nLater t
 he entire student batch had an interactive session with the biomedical eng
 ineers working at Philips. The students acquired a very good understanding
  and knowledge about the different aspects involved in bio designing like 
 mobile obstetrics monitoring\, smart shaver\, baby monitoring append the b
