DESCRIPTION:The chapter has organized the 8th edition of its flagship works
hop cum conference\nIAW 2017. The event was organized during 5th - 9th Jun
e\, 2017 at the Defense\nInstitute of Advanced Technology (DIAT)\, Pune. A
bout 90 research papers were\naccepted for oral and poster presentation. T
otal 18 tutorial sessions and 6 industry\nsessions were conducted. Total 1

nIEEE Indian Antenna Week Conference is a prestigious event\, which is org
anized in different parts of India on a rotation basis every year to boost
the dwindling number of Antenna/RF professionals. Previously Antenna week

arh\, Ajmer and Madurai\, respectively. This conference cum workshop is a
residential programme which attracts students\, faculty members from vario
us academic institutions/engineering colleges\, antenna practitioners/rese
archers\, engineers\, scientists from R&D organizations and industries and
experts. The main objective of this workshop is to bring antenna research
ers and practitioners from around the globe from varied institutional sett
ings and with different business cultures on a common platform so as to sh
are and learn from each other. Since it is a residential programme\, exper
ts and distinguished academicians and professionals working in various asp
ects of antenna\; analysis\, design\, fabrication and testing\, will share
their views\, ideas and vision in the conference. Invited lectures by emi
