Prof.K.Narayanan B.E.\, M.Tech\, IEEE Co- ordinator\, Kongu Engineering College gave Inaugural Address. He addressed the students to commit themselves for the betterment of society. He advis ed the office bearers to bring out new ideas and more social relevant acti vities in this academic year.He also encouraged the students to volunteer themselves to organize the events of IEEE.\n\nThe year plan for IEEE was p roposed by Mr.V.S.Rithubharan\, Chairman – IEEE \, the year plan for WIE was proposed by Ms.V.Gokulapriya\, Chairperson –WIE\,the year plan for PES was proposed by Mr.S.K.Arun Kaarthik\, Chairman\, PES\,the year plan f or IEEE was proposed by Mr.V.Balasubramaniam\, Chairman\, RAS\,the year pl an for IEEE was proposed by Mr.V.Santhosh\,Secretary\, CS\n\nDr.S.Elangova n launched the updated website of IEEE Student Branch -29741 at Kongu Engi neering College and encouraged to participate in the upcoming IEEE MAS SB Website Contest.\n\nDr.S.Elangovan in his chief guest address unfolded the funding opportunities in IEEE. He suggested us to try for various awards like Larry K.Wilson Regional Student Activities Award\, IEEE Outstanding B ranch Counselor Award that are given by IEEE. He recommended the students to build their own lab which would be elucidative to the students.He also encouraged us to showcase our innovative talents in the project contests l ike AIYEHUM\, SIGHT for the improvement of the he standard of living in ru ral areas.\n\nTo express our gratitude\, Prof.K.Narayanan presented the me mento to Dr.S.Elangovan at around 12.30 pm.
