DESCRIPTION:The Meeting was held at the Department of Engineering\, Univers

  on applied superconductivity in Italy.\n\n13 scientific presentations wer
 e given\, spanning activities in Large Scale\, Materials\, and Electronics
  (the canonical categories of the Council on Superconductivity conferences
  and publications).\n\nThe Meeting saw participation from Industry\, Resea
 rch centers and Universities.\n\nThe Meeting was attended by the followng 
 IEEE officers: Bruce P.Strauss\, CSC President\; Elie Track\, CSC Past Pre
 sident and Treasurer\; John X. Przybysz\, Sr.\, CSC President-elect\; Anto
 nio della Corte\, immediate CSC Past president\; John Spargo\, Past CSC Pr
 esident\; Marina Ruggieri IEEE Technical Activities Vice President.\n\nThe
  CSC President\, Bruce Strauss\, presented the Senior Member plaque to the
  new CSC Senior Members.\n\nThe concise\, informative and participated pre
 sentations gave an extensive overview of the Applied Superconductivity in 
 Italy.\n\nDuring the closing\, the IEEE Technical Activities Vice Presiden
 t\, Marina Ruggieri\, congratulated with the attendance for the good work
