DESCRIPTION:IEEE Women in Engineering is excited to host an event at UI LAB
 S in partnership with Northwestern Master of Engineering Management Progra
 m and the Society of Women Engineers Chicago Regional Section. UI LABS is 
 a collaboration platform that brings Universities + Industries together wi
 th startups and government to define problems\, design partnerships and de
 liver scalable solutions to accelerate the deployment of emerging digital 
 technologies\, currently focused on digital manufacturing and smart infras
 tructure.\n\nThe evening is going to start with a presentation titled &quot;Hea
 rt\, Gut\, and Brain: Forging Your Path.” by Caralynn Nowinski Collens\,
  CEO of UI LABS. Dr. Nowinski Collens will refer back to her career path a
 nd lessons learned along the way\, offering advice to women on their own j
 ourneys in technical fields.\n\nAfter the presentation\, participants will
  split up into 2 groups to take tours of the UI LABS Digital Manufacturing
  and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII). DMDII is a manufacturing hub hea
 dquartered in Chicago. As a unique public-private partnership\, it has the
  capabilities\, innovative spirit\, and collaborative expertise to transfo
 rm American manufacturing by ushering in the digital revolution.\n\nFood a
 nd refreshments will be served.\n\nRegistration is required for this event
  with a $10 registration fee. To ensure your participation\, early registr
 ation is strongly recommended due to the limited availability of seats.\n\
